Restaurant Ringhotel Privathotel Post in Badenweiler

Very average food. I had bunter salad - lacked sauce and avocados were unripe - Followed by steak w mushroom sauce and spätzle. Steak cooked well but veg so salty it stung my mouth. Waitress was rude. And when main course arrived she tried to serve spätzle but dropped most on the table. Why would I then want to touch the same serving spoon to serve myself the rest of the pasta in these times of covid?? Lastly trying to eat w 4 wasps sharing your food and beer isn’t ideal. Get an insect control. 1 out of 5 is generous. 9 August 2020.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here at the Privathotel Post this past weekend with excellent service and tasty regional and seasonal specialties. Definitely make reservations on the weekend as this popular place for both locals and visitors fills very quickly. Thankfully we were able to snag a table for dinner without a reservation but I would definitely make reservations on a return visit. As you can see from the photos the menu is fantastic with plenty of options for local and regional fish recipes too. Within walking distance of everything in town and still tucked away from the major road. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in the traditional style with antiques and custom draperies and lamps. The features of fresh flowers and candles on the tables gives a romantic and special feeling for your meal as well.
